We give a clear warranty on our doors. Here is what it means, how to look after it, and what to ask when judging any warranty in this field.
How long
- 5 years on slats and panels.
- 2 years on motors.
Note that slats and panels have a different period from motors, so be clear about which part the fault concerns when you contact us.
When it starts
The warranty starts on the installation date, not the purchase date. So the period is counted from the day the door is installed. Keep whatever proves the installation date.
What it covers
It covers maintenance, spare parts and repairs.
After the warranty
Our maintenance team continues to serve you around the clock.
What do "slats" and "motor" mean here?
An automatic door generally has a structural part (the slats or panels) and an electrical part (the motor, control board, remote and photocells). A warranty is quoted with two periods because each part has its own nature; a motor is an electrical device that works every time the door opens and closes. If you are not sure where your fault lies, photograph it and send it, and we will work out the part with you.
How to make the most of a warranty
General tips that apply to any warranty:
- Keep the invoice or any document that shows the installation and its date.
- Ask for the warranty terms to be written down clearly before installation.
- If a fault appears, photograph it, note when it began, and contact maintenance rather than trying to fix it yourself.
- Do not let unqualified people tamper with the motor or other parts, as it can complicate the repair.
- Give the door type and location when you call, so the case moves faster.
Common causes of automatic door faults
Knowing them helps you avoid them. These are general, not specific to one product:
- Dust and grit in the tracks and moving parts, which is common in Riyadh.
- Extreme heat, which affects electronics, batteries and rubber parts.
- Forcing the door or hitting an obstruction.
- Power cuts and fluctuations.
- A weak remote battery, the simplest and easiest cause.
- Long neglect and ignoring unusual sounds.
Questions to ask any supplier
- From exactly what date does the warranty start?
- Which parts are covered, and for how long each?
- Does it cover spare parts and repairs, or maintenance only?
- How do I reach you in a fault, and is there a team around the clock?
Everyday care
Simple habits help a door stay healthy: keep the tracks free of dust and obstructions, do not force the door if you feel resistance, and lubricate only as the manufacturer advises. Replace the remote battery when response weakens and keep remotes away from children. Sensible use extends the life of a door whatever the warranty.
Common mistakes
- Thinking the warranty begins at the order or purchase date.
- Not keeping proof of the installation date.
- Leaving a small fault until it becomes a big one.
- Mixing up the slat period (5 years) with the motor period (2 years).
